About the Club

Fat Cats is an afrocentric book club and famous for going #BeyondLiterature. Our weekly activities include member book reviews, arts and culture reviews and, Chair’s wrap-up of the week.

The club also hosts book launches, member contact sessions, as well as contact sessions with authors where members can get more personal time with the authors. The club also hosts fitness activities, CSI initiatives and is in the process of planning a trip for members.

Our VC is responsible for members and may be contacted for details on how to join. New members pay an annual subscription of R400, with renewal at R300.
